Cabano for Slack
Build native iPhone apps from a Slack conversation. Describe the app you want in a direct message to Cabano, and it writes a SwiftUI app, compiles it, and posts back in the thread when it’s ready.
How it works
- Add Cabano to your Slack workspace, then open it from the Apps section in Slack.
- Send it a message describing your app, like “a habit tracker with daily streaks and reminders”.
- The first time, connect your Cabano account with the one-time link it sends you.
- Follow the build in the thread. Cabano names your app, draws its icon, and posts a summary when it’s ready.
- Reply in the same thread to change the app, such as “add a dark mode”.
- Press Preview on iPhone for a screenshot from a real iPhone simulator, or open the app in Cabano to use it live and publish it to the App Store.
What you need
- A Cabano account. A free plan is available, and builds from Slack use your plan’s credits.
- Permission to add apps to your Slack workspace, or a workspace admin who can approve Cabano.
What Cabano can see
Cabano only receives the direct messages you send it, and it posts only in that conversation and on its Home tab. It can’t read your channels or conversations between people. You can disconnect from Cabano’s Home tab in Slack or from Connections in Cabano at any time. See the Privacy Policy for details.
